Tech Joke! - The Bishop's Microphone

It looked like a technology announcement from my tech-writer friend, Marco, of Gadgets Magazine.

Here's Marco's text message:
At the middle part of d Sunday Mass: Bishop taps the microphone and said, "Ther's something wrong w/ d microphone.!" The people answered, "AND ALSO WITH YOU.."
Joke!

But... makes me think ... Sunday mass has become awfully routine and perfunctory for many.

Isn't there indeed SOMETHING WRONG with us or our Sunday mass?

The way people embrace different kinds of religion today is a testament to the fact that people aren't receiving the spiritual nourishment they hoped they would from their previous religions.

It's sad really. So many are becoming drifters their whole lives.

I respect emmanslayer for standing up for what he believes in. Ditto, others who have found their "religion". I don't have a problem with any religion as long as a person becomes better because of it.

It's the rituals that bother me... though not all. Sometimes, people attend these get-togethers just for the sake of attending.. not for what they believe in.

But, you know, sometimes people attend these "get-togethers" just for the sake of, say, seeing their crush ... and come out with a new perspective on religion afterall ...

yun ang nangyari sa kapatid ko ... now she's the good girl among us siblings

To sitting gal: Yep, I sometimes also go to these "get-togethers" to enjoy the "view". You're lucky to have a good girl of a sister because of this. As one anonymous poster said, it doesn't matter what religion a person is in as long as he/she becomes a better person because of it.
